Comparison
Sentway and Typeform
Typeform makes well-crafted forms and surveys with a considered builder and a lot of thought behind the question experience. Sentway is not a form builder. It publishes pages your AI wrote, and if one of those pages contains a form, a worksheet or an upload area, Sentway stores what visitors put into it and hands it back to your AI.
What Typeform is good at
- A refined, guided question experience built without code
- Logic jumps, question types and reporting in a mature builder
- Non-technical people creating a survey on their own
Nothing below is a criticism of that. Sentway is shaped around a different job, and the table sets out where the two differ.
The difference in one line
Typeform gives you a form. Sentway gives you the page, and the page can contain a form your AI wrote in whatever shape the job needs.
If your only requirement is a well-designed standalone survey, a dedicated form builder is a sound choice. Sentway earns its place when the form sits inside something larger, such as an onboarding page, an event page or a deal room.
What your AI can build on the page
Because the page is just HTML or JSX, the form is whatever your AI writes. That includes worksheet style questions, a task list the visitor ticks off, an upload area for documents, and ordinary form fields, all on the same page as the surrounding content.
Sentway's SDK captures those interactions without you wiring anything up, and uploads require a verifying gate so files always arrive attached to a known visitor.
What your AI can read back
Responses come back through these tools. Plan requirements are read from the live tool catalogue.
- get_submissionsFree plan
- list_worksheet_answersPro: Visitor worksheet history
- list_plan_progressPro: Visitor timelines
- list_visitor_uploadsPro: Visitor uploads
Surveys the AI writes and reads
The loop that suits Sentway is one where the same assistant writes the questions, publishes them, and later reads the answers back and tells you what they say.
You never export a spreadsheet to find out what happened, because the answers are already available to the conversation that made the survey.

Which one to reach for
Use Typeform when
- You want to build the form yourself without involving an AI.
- The guided one-question-at-a-time experience is the point.
- You need a mature builder's logic, question types and reporting.
Use Sentway when
- The form belongs inside a larger page your AI is already writing.
- You want uploads, task progress and answers captured together.
- You want the same AI to publish the questions and interpret the answers.
Questions people ask
- Does Sentway have a form builder?
- No. The form is part of the page your AI writes, and Sentway captures what visitors submit. That is deliberate: Sentway has no editor for any content.
- Are responses stored if I am on the free plan?
- Yes. Every response is stored regardless of plan. The free plan limits how many of them are visible at once, not how many are kept.
- Can visitors upload files?
- Yes, on a page with an upload area, and only when the site has a gate that verifies the visitor. Sentway blocks publishing an uploader behind an unverified gate so files are always attributable.
