Use case
Send a proposal that tells you when it was read
A Sentway proposal is a web page your AI writes and publishes on its own address, behind a gate that asks the client for their email address before the page loads. You send one link. When the client opens it, Sentway records who they were and what they did, and your AI can read that back to you in the same conversation that produced the proposal.
What this is for
A proposal sent as an attachment tells you nothing after it leaves your outbox. You do not know whether it was opened, which sections were read, or whether it was forwarded to somebody else. A Sentway proposal is a page instead of a file, so the reading of it is an event you can see.
This suits any document you send to one named person or one small group and care about the reaction to: a scope of work, a pitch, a quote, a statement of work, a renewal.
What your AI builds
You describe the client, the scope and the price. Your AI writes the page in whichever format fits, usually HTML for a designed document or Markdown for a plain one, then creates the site and publishes it. Sentway has no template and no editor, so the proposal reads the way your AI wrote it rather than the way a builder forced it.
Multi-page proposals work the same way. Your AI saves a page per section and publishes them together as one snapshot, so the client never sees a half-finished document.
What the client sees
The client opens your link and gets a gate page carrying your branding, one email field, and a line naming the account their details go to. Once they pass, the proposal loads. Sentway checks the gate on the server, so the proposal is never sent to a browser that has not passed it.
Turn verification on and the client receives a magic link first, which proves the address belongs to them. That is the setting to use when you want to be sure the person reading it is the person you sent it to.
What you get back
You ask your AI what happened and it reads the answer out of Sentway. Which readbacks are on your plan depends on the tool behind each one.

Walkthrough: one proposal, start to finish
You tell your AI to build a proposal page for a client covering the scope and the price, put it behind verified email capture, and publish it. Your AI creates the site, saves the page, sets the gate and publishes, then hands you the link.
You email the link. The client opens it, gives their address, clicks the magic link, and reads the proposal. Two days later you ask your AI whether the proposal has been opened. It tells you when, and if you are on Pro, how long they stayed and which pages they reached.
You ask your AI to revise the price and republish. The link does not change, so the client's next visit shows the new version.
Questions people ask
- Can the client forward my proposal to someone else?
- They can forward the link, and the next person meets the same gate and gives their own address. That is usually what you want: you find out the proposal reached a second reader and who they were. If you want to admit only named people, use an allowlist gate instead of email capture.
- Can I change the proposal after I have sent it?
- Yes. Your AI saves a new draft and republishes. Visitors see the last published version, so an unfinished edit is never exposed, and the address stays the same.
- Do I need Pro to know whether a proposal was opened?
- No. Page views and active time come from analytics, which is on every plan. Naming the individual reader and reconstructing their timeline is a Pro readback.

If this is the job in front of you, connect your AI to Sentway and ask it to build the page. There is nothing to design first.
